IOM Iraq Funding Appeal 2017
In 2017, IOM Iraq continues to address the overwhelming needs of displaced Iraqis, host communities and returnees across Iraq. In close coordination with government authorities, partners in the Humanitarian Country Team, clusters and NGOs, IOM Iraq delivers a comprehensive emergency response, incorporating Shelter/Non-Food Items, Camp Coordination and Camp Management, Health, Psychosocial Support, Protection and Emergency Livelihoods activities.
The IOM Iraq Funding Appeal 2017 outlines the needs and funding gaps for the organization’s emergency assistance. Activities presented in the appeal reflect the objectives defined in the 2017 Humanitarian Response Plan for Iraq. IOM Iraq urgently requires US $76.3 million in order to continue its emergency response operations in Iraq until the end of 2017. This amount includes US $28.83 million towards the Mosul crisis response through June 2017.
