IOM's DTM figures and Iraq Chief of Mission statement highlighted in NRT TV report

"Recent numbers published by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) state that 3.2 million Iraqis have been displaced by violence across the country since January 2014."

"An overwhelming 87 percent of those people were reported to be from Anbar, Nineveh and Salahaddin provinces – three areas most affected by the war against IS."

“Massive displacement due to continued conflict persists across Iraq, and displaced Iraqis are in increasingly desperate situations,” said IOM Iraq Chief of Mission Thomas Lothar Weiss in a statement posted to the organization’s website.
